How can I prevent a new computer from downloading my “subscribed” add ons in Garry's Mod? Ask Question steamapps->workshop. The most annoying thing is that now it is not downloading anything. i click to download an addon, it says its downloading (no percentage comes up) and then it disappears, and the addon is not in my subscribed addons folder!

When i was subscribing some addons or whatever you call iti was stuck at downloading addons as it says "0 of 1 Items complete" however when i open gmod, it's fine and every addons i subscribed into this game syncs, but the weird thing is, i'm stuck at downloading workshop addons, i tried restarting my pc and steam but still no clue, if you have this problem or probably know how to fix it, help is appreciated.

This also happend to me once maybe twice But somehow it just fixed itself,so maybe try to be patient and wait for a couple of days not with the garrys mod workshop content not downloading on though and maybe it will finish download.
Or try to unsubscribe the addon that is trying to download,start mod then exit,resubscribe the addon and then start mod again and see if it fixes. If not then you are going to have to play the game without that addon till you find a fix,sorry. Originally posted by Roshan Cheesemaster :.

It only works on Linux I guess it could work on Windows with some work, and my system's paths are hardcoded in, but it still might be helpful if you know that your doing. A pack of cool weapons you downloaded is not fine.
