It's got beautiful photos and charts as well. Buying this earlier edition saves hundreds of dollars over the newest ones and it still does have sufficient accurate detail to keep up with modern biology.
This is a brief introduction to the subject of Biology. This book provides material covered in a variety of biology classes, it's an excellent introductory biology book for science majors and non science majors alike. I love this book!
